Have fun summer!
Camp Read A lot started yesterday for 4K watching Clifford the Big Red Dog. We also ate popcorn. We continued Camp Read A lot today. We pretended to camp all day long. The kids learned about the summer reading program at Waterford Library. It sounds like so much fun! There will be more information in your child's folder on Monday. Parents-there are prizes for you to earn, too. Maybe you will see me there. We also danced and sang to camp fire songs with Mr. Voss, made and at S'mores, and colored camp key chains. We fit in two stories and had time to go outside to enjoy the beautiful day. I hope you child had as much fun as Mrs. Ward and I did.
Next week we have two days left of school. Monday we will finish some activities we did not get to today, watch a movie Mrs. Ward made using lots of pictures taken throughout the year, and have ice cream. On Tuesday, we will attend the carnival put on by our fantastic PTO. It will be a short, but busy two days.
Learning Without Tears
Most students finished their purple books. If your child did not, this would be good practice for over the summer. In addition, a small green book was sent home. We did not get to this book. This too would be great practice for over the summer.
