Thank you so much to all of you who were able to attend Parents Night on Wednesday. As I said, your kids are doing great because of you-keep being amazing parents!
It was a stormy, rainy, sticky, overall yucky week but we survived. Let’s hope Fall arrives soon to cool it off.
If you have not signed up for the color run, go to schoolathon.org. The last day to sign up is Monday and the event takes place on Sunday, September 29th. This is a PTO sponsored event.
Have a wonderful weekend!

This week, we...
- Read Kindness to Sharing from A to Z, Walk and See Colors, Dog on a Frog?, Five Colorful Crayons
- reviewed Rules by sorting pictures into green and red choices
- played with our friends at choice time
- sang and danced
- drew a picture in our journals
- practiced drawing lines and holding pencils correctly
- We have added a calming area to our classroom. Your child may bring a small stuffed animal to keep at school and to use in our calming area as needed.
- Thank you to all of you that ordered books. I think this was largest order EVER! Your kids will have big smiles when they arrive.
- Next month, if you are interested in ordering books for your child, please order by Tuesday, October 15th. The easiest way to order is by going to www.scholastic,com. You will need to put in our class code F829Y in order for the 4K class to earn free books. If you have any questions, please ask.
- Check the website out www.mybigworld.scholastic.com
- We are learning about apples
- Please send in one yellow, green or red apple to use for making applesauce
Show or Share
- We will have show & share time every Friday in 4K. Your child may bring a small item to share with the class. If an item is forgotten, students will be able to share (with their words) anything they want. This is a great opportunity to get to know each other and for your child's communication skills to develop.
