What a busy week! The kids had a substitute teacher Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I feel like I hardly saw them. I was giving each student the Phonological Awareness Literacy Screening (PALS) and checking their understanding of number awareness. The results from the data collected will guide my future instruction in 4K. All the kids loved coming into my “office” (the room I teach in in the afternoon) to show me how smart they are. Even though PALS is necessary, I sure missed being in the classroom. My subs told me that “my kids” are very well -behaved. I am so proud of all of them!

Show or Share
- Show & share time is every Friday in 4K. Your child may bring a small item to share with the class. If an item is forgotten, students will be able to share (with their words) anything they want. This is a great opportunity to get to know each other and for your child's communication skills to develop. We are having fun learning about our favorite toys and hearing silly stories!
- A note regarding the 4K Autumn Party was sent home in your child’s folder. Please let me know if you can supply any of the items on the list and if you are interested in helping at the party from 9-10:30.
