We had a busy and fun week! Our first party of the school year was Friday. We celebrated Halloween by wearing costumes and enjoying lots of fun activities. We made Spookley the Square Pumpkin with graham crackers, frosting , eyes, and Hershey kisses. We used pretzels and cheese balls to create 5 Little Pumpkins Sitting on a Gate. Have your child tell you about the story of Spookley and have them sing the song 5 Little Pumpkins. We also played some Halloween games and went home with lots of treats. Thank you to all the parents who sent in items to make our first party a success. The kids had a wonderful time laughing and playing!
With the cold weather here, your child needs a warm jacket, mittens and a hat for recess. Please label everything.
We had our first ALICE drill on Thursday. We had to evacuate the school. The kids did perfect! I am so proud of them for taking this drill seriously.
Have a spooky weekend!
