Week of September 27, 2021
We had a beautiful sunny week! We were able to get outside every day. The kids love to swing, climb and run outside.
Next week Wednesday and Thursday is conferences. If you have not signed up yet, please do so. I look forward to meeting with all of you. After conferences next week, I will be getting the list out for October volunteers. Not everyone will be able to come in every month. Please be aware that ALL volunteers musk wear a mask in the building. If this poses a problem for you, let me know and I will schedule you for when the mandate has been lifted.
We finished our apple unit this week. We made applesauce on Thursday and ate it on Friday. Most of the kids liked it, but they are used to the store bought which we tasted as well. The kids loved using the apple/peeler/slicer/corer. They also enjoyed trying their apple "snakes" (skins). We had so much fun! Check out the pictures in the pic section (I will get them uploaded on Monday-they wouldn't load this afternoon).
Enjoy another beautiful weekend…
