Week of October 4, 2021
Cloudy week but luckily it only rained one day and we ended missing recess. Instead, we had a longer inside play time.
Thank you to all of you that made it to conferences either virtually or in person. It was great to put a face with all of you. I really enjoyed our conversations. Please reach out any time if you have concerns.
Next week, I will be getting the list out for October volunteers. Not everyone will be able to come in every month. Please be aware that ALL volunteers musk wear a mask in the building. If this poses a problem for you, let me know and I will schedule you for when the mandate has been lifted. Also, all volunteers must have background check done before coming into the classroom. You can print one from the WashCald website or l can send one home for you. As soon as your background check is verified, I can add you to the volunteer list.
This week, we started learning Halloween songs and finished a few apple fun sheets. The Tichigan Fire Department came for a visit on Thursday to talk about fire prevention. We will learn more about fire safety next week.
I will not be at school on Monday or Tuesday. If you need to get a message to Mrs. Ward or my sub, please contact the office.
Have a fun weekend with an extra day off for your child - NO SCHOOL on Friday!
