We had another amazing week! We continued working on writing and identifying our names every day. We had a special visit from the Tichigan Fire Department on Wednesday. The students got to see all the equipment on the fire engine and go inside an ambulance. Next week, our theme will be fire safety in our classroom. The visit was a perfect start to our new theme!
This week, the students received Bulldog t-shits from the WC PTO as a welcome to school gift. These shirts were bought a tad bigger on purpose so students can grown into them. Thank a PTO member if you see one.
On Friday, we had our first ALICE training. The students listened to the story I'm Not Scared I'm Prepared. In this story, the students at Ant Hill School learn what to do if a dangerous someone is in their school. Throughout the school year, students will be learn all about ALICE in preparation of a dangerous situation at our school. For more information on ALICE, go to alicetraining.com.
We had our first Show & Tell today. It went great!
